Privacy Policy — Dola Seedance 2.0/2.5 Studio

Effective date: September 3, 2026

1. Overview

Dola Seedance 2.0/2.5 Studio is a Chrome extension that supports your Dola/Seedance video workflow — selecting a supported Seedance model and options, assisting with the video workflow, monitoring and managing your generated video tasks, downloading videos, and validating your license and activating it on your device. This policy explains what information the extension and its licensing service process, and how. We only process the data needed to provide these features.

2. Information We Process

A. License and entitlement data. When you activate, you submit a license key that is validated by the licensing server. We process your plan/entitlement status, expiry, status and device limit. Plaintext license keys are not stored by the server as durable credentials — only a one-way hash is kept for validation, and first-time activation uses a short-lived, one-time credential rather than re-using your key.

B. Device / technical activation data. To bind a license to one physical machine, a local component generates a random, opaque machine enrollment identifier. We process machine activation/enrollment status and agent/protocol version and capability information, plus basic browser/extension technical information needed for compatibility and activation. We do not perform invasive hardware fingerprinting and do not collect serial numbers, MAC addresses or BIOS identifiers.

C. Extension configuration and state. The extension stores local settings/preferences and a temporary activation handoff needed to complete setup. No plaintext license key is persisted in extension storage.

D. Service and operational data. The service processes limited technical request information necessary to operate the service and for security debugging. Server logs are kept conservatively and only as needed for operation, security and abuse prevention.

E. Payment. Purchases are processed through the configured payment provider / bank integration. The extension itself does not collect or store full card or payment-account credentials, and we make no claim of PCI cardholder-data handling.

3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

4. How We Use Information

We use the information above only to: validate licenses and activate/recover devices; enforce the one-device-per-license limit; deliver purchased entitlements; support licensing recovery, reset, reissue and audit; operate and secure the service; and provide the extension's video-workflow features. We do not sell user data, do not use it for creditworthiness or lending decisions, and do not use collected data for unrelated advertising profiling.

5. Third-Party Services

The extension interacts with Dola pages/services as required for your requested workflow, with the Dola license server for license validation and device activation, and with a payment provider / bank integration for purchase processing where applicable. These are independent services; we do not imply any affiliation with or ownership of them. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

7. Security

Production communication with the server uses HTTPS. Sensitive activation credentials are not placed in URLs. Temporary activation handoffs are limited and single-use, and license/device validation is server-authoritative. We use reasonable technical measures to protect stored data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim absolute security.

8. User Choices

You may uninstall the extension, clear its browser storage, request a device reset/reissue or support through the product administrator/support channel where applicable, and stop using the service at any time. For privacy or support requests, use the support/contact method provided by the publisher in the Chrome Web Store listing.

9. Children

The product is not specifically directed to children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and the effective date above will be updated.
